Gerald Agee
Dr. Gerald Agee is the founder and Executive Director of Friendship Community Development Corporation (FCDC) which was formed in 2006 to address affordable housing issues in the Bay Area. He is also the founder and Senior Pastor of Friendship Christian Center located in the beautiful heart of West Oakland for over 30 years. He is a former President emeritus of one of the largest Pastoral Alliance in the Bay Area, Pastors of Oakland, in which he currently serves on their Advisory Board. He has served on numerous boards, such as the Elders for Independence, NID Housing Alliance, The Red Cross, etc. Dr. Agee has faithfully and diligently worked with the West Oakland Health Council (now known as Baywell Health) to serve the needs of the West Oakland Community and greater Oakland. For over 35 years Dr. Agee has worked in the Oakland community to fight against crime, poverty and homelessness.
Alesia Agee
Dr. Alesia Agee is the COO/Executive Administrator of Friendship Community Development Corporation since 2015. She has served as a community advocate in the West Oakland Community for over 30 years. She is one of the founding Board members of the organization and is instrumental with helping developing the organization’s structure, vision, and purpose. Dr. Alesia also serves as the Executive Pastor/Administrator at Friendship Christian Center also located West Oakland. She is known for wearing many hats! She is a California Real Estate Agent, a Notary, Billboard Gospel Singer/Songwriter, wife, mother and a soon to be book author from her upcoming scheduled book release.
